KAMALIA -A team of the Livestock Department visited Kamalia and its suburban areas and vaccinated camels to prevent them from Congo Virus here the other day.

According to official sources, District Livestock Officer Akhtar Ghulam Mustafa, along with a team from Bhakkar, visited various villages in Kamalia including 515/GB, 513/GB, 662/3-GB and Mauza Kohl Khurd area. The team members vaccinated all camels in these areas to prevent them from ticks and also took their blood and skin samples for extensive lab tests. Specialist doctors and experts also accompanied the team who, briefed the camel herders regarding precautions to save their camels from Congo Virus and about the camel health, better food and good breeding.
