LAHORE: A Punjab Food Authority team, headed by Ayesha Mumtaz, carried out raids at several bus terminals in the city yesterday.
In Samandabad Town, the PFA team raided city bus terminal canteen and upon no food licensees and complete labelling on food items. Whereas, Skyways Bus Service’s food distribution point was sealed for selling rotten chips, improper cleanliness measures, no food license and bad condition of toilets.
Same was done at Bilal Daewoo Bus terminal where the food service was sealed for not mentioning labels on food items. The canteen was also sealed for not having proper storage at their freezers.
While in Gulberg Town, the food authority sealed Dutch ill Pvt Ltd warehouse for not having food license.
PFA Data Ganj Baksh Town and Shalimar town teams raided Summit Water Plant and sealed the plant upon finding germs in water samples. While Pharma Jin water was also sealed upon having suspended matter.–Staff Reporter
