LAHORE - PTI leaders staged protest against MQM chief over his anti-Pakistan remarks and demanded registration of case against him under treason laws.

Imran Khan’s party held main protest in the provincial capital yesterday outside Lahore Press Club. Protesters were chanting slogans against the MQM chief and they were holding placards and banners inscribed with the demand of immediate action against Altaf Hussain.  “Altaf’s party should be banned and he should be brought to book for his acts of treason. Islamabad should ask London to cancel the citizenship of the MQM chief because he was using their soil for his treasonous actions against Pakistan” the speakers demanded.

PTI leader Samsam Bokhari said Altaf Hussain has established himself an agent of the RAW.  He demanded registration of a case against Altaf Hussain under treason laws.

Ch Sarwar said the people who speak against Pakistan and national institutions are the enemy of state.

Enemies of Pakistan don’t have the right to practice politics in country. There is no room for anti-state people in politics of Pakistan, he added.  There is need of grand operation against enemies of the state to end treason games against Pakistan, he said.

Meanwhile, MQM Punjab office in Muslim Town Lahore has been sealed by the authorities.  Party flags and posters of MQM chief have also been removed outside the office. Office employees present in the office directed to leave the premises.
