MUZAFFARGARH-State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali emphasised that exemplary punishment should be awarded to those making derogatory remarks against Pakistan.

“Their supporters and voters are true Pakistanis and they should not be punished for mistakes of one person,” Abid Sher Ali stated while talking to the media during a visit to Mepco office here. The state minister said that targeted operation should be continued against terrorists in Karachi, adding that the Sindh government responsible to protect media houses in the province and those involved in the attack should be brought to the book immediately.

The state minister termed Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri cousins and “misguided persons.” “People have rejected the politics of both the PTI chief and PAT chairman and that the government will not allow anyone to destroy the peaceful for their vested interest,” he pointed out.

On the occasion, Abid Sher Ali also reiterated the pledge to end electricity loadshedding by March 2018.

Earlier, the state minister ordered registration of cases against three meter inspectors and departmental action against SDO, line superintendent and assistant lineman following public complaints.
