Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar has said that he would not resign as he had not done anything wrong. Speaking to media in Lahore, he said that the position of the government is strengthening and army would not interfere in its affairs. He noted that Nawaz Sharif did not want to dislodge the incumbent government. He posed a question before the reporters that why should President Zardari tender his resignation only after a year in office.
