Rawalpindi - The skyrocketing inflation and unemployment have made the lives of masses miserable and this all is happening because of incompetent rulers, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Syed Zahid Kazmi yesterday.
“The loadshedding of gas in winter and electricity in summer has doubled the miseries of the people,” Kazmi expressed these views while visiting Khurram Colony and Awan Town (areas of NA-56 and NA-54) in connection with membership campaign of PTI. Addressing the people, Kazmi said that erroneous policies of rulers multiplied the problems of poor people who have been pressed under burden of price hike and energy crisis. He said that on one hand the masses are paying hefty bills of gas and electricity despite non-availability of the commodities while the industries owned by rulers are flourishing day and night on the other hand. He said that the PML-N has broken all records of corruption as the leadership is launching all the major projects without getting validity from the Parliament. Kazmi was of view that corrupt and bad-reputed police officers are being deputed in police stations who are looting the people with both hands and filling the pockets of their political masters regularly. “The grade-IV patwaris have become millionaire in Punjab whereas CM Punjab is making tall claims of good governance,” he said. On the occasion, other PTI leaders including Malik Mehbood Elahi, Sheikh Muhammad Tariq, Sabrina Javed, Shamim Aftab, Zohaib Afridi and Muhammad Tariq also spoke with the people.
