CM flays PTI’s KP performance

LAHORE -  Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited District Headquarters Hospital Layyah and inaugurated Children Ward and CT Scan facility, and uplift projects.

He addressed the public gathering in Milad Ground. He also inaugurated different uplift projects including Layyah Chowk Azam dualcarriageway and sewerage scheme. He criticised PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PPP co-Chairman Asif Zardari. He said that in KPK and Sindh provinces, no standard education and health institute was established. Imran Khan initiated no electricity project in the last four year in KPK.

The CM also announced that if the PML-N comes to power in the next general elections, rapid bus would be started in Layyah. Provincial Minister Ijaz Achlana said that the PML-N government was carrying out development projects in South Punjab.

He demanded the establishment of a university, dualisation of carriageway of MM Road and a journalist colony. MNA Syed Saqlian Shah, MPA Ishfaq Ahmad, Qaiser Abbas and Faizul Hassan also addressed the gatherin.

assures industrialists of HELP

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assured industrialists of solution to their problems on a priority basis.

Led by Senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour, a delegation of industrialists called on the chief minister here on Tuesday. During the meeting, different matters, including problems faced by the industrial sector and promotion of trade and investment, came under discussion.

The delegation praised development work in Punjab and said that people of Peshawar also wanted a chief minister like Shehbaz in the province. The delegation thanked the chief minister for his assurance to solve their problems and invited him to Peshawar. The chief minister congratulated Ghazanfar Bilour on his election as president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and highlighted the importance of industrial growth in creating job opportunities.

Shehbaz said he had assured the delegation that he would approach the federal government, convey industrialists’ problems, and ask it to find solution to them at the earliest. He said “Pakistan belongs to us all and we collectively have to work for its prosperity because progress of four provinces will make Pakistan prosperous”.President of FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilour; former president SM Munir; former presidents of KPCCI Haji Muhammad Afzal, Riaz Arshad and Malik Niaz and KPCCI Executive Committee Member Gul Khan were part of the delegation.

CONDOLENCES

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of the widow of famous film star Muhammad Saeed Khan, popularly known as Rangeela, and mother of Farrah Deeba, former MPA.

In his condolence message, the chief minister prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
