Bajwa off to China to attend AHF meeting

LAHORE - Pakistan Hockey Federation Secretary Asif Bajwa sees the forthcoming Asian Hockey Federation meeting in China as one of the most important. Before leaving for China to attend the meeting, the PHF secretary said that the Asian body will be giving the final shape to the tournaments and series for the Asian hockey playing nations. He said that he would also brief the AHF about the postponement and the holding of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. He said that the Pakistan team would be preparing for the World Cup qualifying round and in that case it would be hard to concentrate on other aspect for the team. He further said that he hope to have positive impact of the meeting on the Asian hockey and it is important because the International Hockey Federation president is also attending the meeting along with Asian nations heads and secretaries to go into details of the issues haunting the game.
