Former President General (r) Pervez Musharraf has vowed to return Pakistan to face the trial being carried out by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in a case filed against his extra-constitutional steps on November 3, 2007. Musharraf, while talking to newsmen after holding meetings with his legal advisors and former political allies, told the newsmen Thursday that he was ready to appear before the court "if needed". On July 22, Supreme Court summoned former president to explain his extra constitutional acts such as sacking of countrys top judiciary and imposition of emergency rule on November 3, 2007. He said his consultations with his legal advisors were presently underway and he would deliberate his strategy once the details of the case were revealed. Those who met with former military ruler were include his long-time legal aide Abdul Hafiz Pirzada, Federal Minister Baber Khan Ghori of MQM, and former ministers Chaudhry Shehbaz, Faisal Saleh Hayat, Omer Ayub and Khursheed Mehmood Kusoori.
