Man killed, girl kidnapped

ISLAMABAD Two unidentified persons gunned down a man in the limits of Koral Police Station, police said on Friday. According to police, on Saturday night two unidentified armed men had entered into the house of Muhammad Akram and opened fire on him. Akram received four bullet shots and died on the spot. Later, Muhammad Aslam brother of deceased lodged his complaint with Koral Police Station regarding murder of his brother. Police said that in his application Aslam stated that he would later nominate some of his family members for killing his brother. To a query, police said that it would be premature to say any thing about motives behind the murder adding that killers might be from Akrams in-laws as he had married four times. An FIR under section 302/34 had been registered against unidentified killers. Meanwhile, five men in collaboration with a woman abducted a girl within the jurisdiction of Koral Police Station on Friday. According to police, the father of the girl lodged application and informed the police that the accused Wajid Hussain, Muhammad Basharat and others had kidnapped his eighteen- year-old daughter(A) from the area of Ghora Mast. Upon this, police registered a kidnapping case against nominated accused.
