PESHAWAR Three persons including head of Tehsil Mamond Peace Committee were killed in two separate remote-controlled bomb blasts on Friday. According to political administration and locals of the area, the first explosion took place in front of Malik Ali Sardar Khans home who was the head of the Mamond Peace Committee. Malik Ali and his other colleagues injured in the blast. They were rushed to Agency Headquarter Hospital, Khar, but Malik succumbed to his injuries. The other injured were admitted to the hospital. The political officials further informed that the second bomb blast took place on a roadside near Sprey village when a patrolling party of the Peace Committee was passing by. Two persons namely Malik Gul Muhammad and Malik Muhammad Karim died on the spot, while two others got injured who were later shifted to the hospital. The security forces cordoned off the whole area and started search operation. Meanwhile, some unidentified miscreants reportedly fired two rockets that fell in various parts of the provincial metropolis on Friday, however, no human casualty was reported. According to details, some unidentified miscreants reportedly fired two rockets from Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency. One of the rockets fell in open fields of Bishtakhara village, while the other fell near Custom House on University Road, which partially damaged a flat.
