Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has taken notice of violent incidents in Karachi and directed to form joint investigation team to probe into the matter. According to private TV channel here on Saturday, Interior Minister Rehman Malik expressed grief over killing of MQM workers, during telephonic conversation with MQM International Secretariat London. Rehman Malik contacted to DG Rangers Sindh and directed to deploy additional police contingent in sensitive areas of Karachi. In wake of crucial situation, he appealed to the coalition parties MQM and ANP to remain calm and peaceful. He said that the incidents of killings, arson and ransacking are really condemnable. Federal Interior Minister also contacted to Governor Dr Ishrat Ul Ibad Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Interior Minister Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza through telephone and exchange views over the situation of the metropolitan.
