The residential project for government's employees in Barakahu is likely to be in doldrums as the Capital Development Authority (CDA) raised objections on the land allocated for the project. According to sources, the capital's authority raised objections on the level of the land and termed it inappropriate for housing project. It may be mentioned here that the Housing Ministry had purchased land covering the area of 3000 kanal for Rs. 4 billion and requested to CDA for issuing of NOC. CDA had sent a letter to the ministry for required documents but the ministry did not provide any documents to the capital's authority. The Ministry of Housing and construction had announced a housing project for federal employees in Barakahu two years ago.
