LAHORE - The Government College University has produced two doctors of philosophy (PhDs) in the field of Zoology. The GCU Examination Department has issued a notification after approval of their thesis. Riffat Iqbal and Kiran Aftab completed their thesis on the topic of “The Genomic Basis and Environment; as Risk Factors for Myocardial Infarction” and “Taxonomy and Distribution of Giraffids in the Lower Siwaliks of Pakistan” under the supervision of Prof Dr Nusrat Jahan and Dr Zaheer Ahmad respectively.
