Extreme poverty in Sindh is not from the devil but from our rulers, bureaucrats and technocrats. These oppressive rulers do not want the province to progress or the poor to have better lives. This resource-rich province is being plundered for personal gains. It is tragic to see that greed and lust for materialism among our rulers, bureaucrats and technocrats is insatiable. Time has come to stand for social justice. All righteous people must come forward to show their concern for social justice in Sindh and other parts of the country where poverty is growing instead of decreasing.
