Asked when he would leave the Army House to move to the Presidency, General Musharraf replied there were some security concerns that needed to be addressed before he could shift. General is now a retired soldier. Why doesn't he call his buddy George Bush to get a few hundred trusted Blackwater security guards for his protection? Blackwater has developed into the largest mercenary army in the world. It is doing a fine job in Iraq by protecting the US soldiers and officials. I suggest the General must not trust the local security personnel since he has the US-trained former GIs available for his security. They shoot first and ask questions later. -MEHRAN LEGHARI, Lahore Cantt., via e-mail, June 12.
