Five security officials including two officers were martyred in a clash between security forces and militants in tehsil Char Bagh of Swat. According to official sources, five security men including two officers were martyred in a clash in Mangaltan area of tehsil Charbagh. On the other hand, forces shelled militants hideouts in Shah Derai, Totano Bandai and Paharai areas in tehsil Kabal of Swat and Manglore. Dir media center announced curfew relaxation till 8:00 pm in tehsil Maidan and Aden Zai of district Lower Dir. In Swat, curfew remained imposed except Khawaza Khela, Madeen, Bahrain and Kalam areas. Meanwhile, clashes between national lashkar and militants continued in Upper Dir whereas security forces also shelling militants hideouts from Pana Kot area.
