Court allows transfer of Shoaib Sheikh to Islamabad

KARACHI- A District and Sessions Judge today allowed the transfer of software company Axact's Chairman Shoaib Sheikh to Islamabad for further investigation pertaining to the fake degree scandal.

The court also granted permission to move other accused in the case to Islamabad.

Hearing the plea of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the court allowed to move Shoaib Sheikh, Waqas Atiq, Muhammad Sabir, Zeeshan Ahmed and Zeeshan Anwar to Islamabad for 15 days for further investigation regarding the important case.

Counsel of Axact opposed the decision of the court, saying that permission to move the accused to Islamabad was against law.
