The District Police Officer (DPO) has discharged a fictitious case got registered by a prominent political leader Ch Muhammad Bukhsh Tarar, Ex-Nazim Union Council Rasulpur Tarar against Muhammad Jahangir a landlord of Ahmadabad (Mot Tarar) following completion of investigation by the SP Investigations.

According to Muhammad Jahagir, Ch Muhammad Bakhsh Tarar had borrowed Rs250,000 from him sometime back and when he demanded to have the money back, he got enraged and had got implicated him a false case due to his political influence. He alleged that Bakhsh Tarar had already got registered false cases against his 16 rivals in the past.

While distributing promotion and teacher package orders to 261 teachers at Jinnah Hall here, he emphasised on the teachers to ensure promotion of education and character-building of the student.

On the occasion, President Muttahida Mahaz Asatza Ch Riaz Ahmad Tarar and other office-bearers expressed their gratitude to DCO Muhammad Usman for granting long-awaited promotion and teacher packages.

RICE BOARD’S REVIVAL: The Rice Dealers Association (RDA) has called upon the Federal government to revive Rice Board to steer out rice trade from crisis and earn precious foreign exchange for the country.

Addressing a press conference, Rice Dealers Association (RDA) Punjab president Haji Sheikh Muhammad Ishaq said that superior-quality rice of Pakistan used to export and earn billion of rupees as foreign exchange every year in the past.
