The inhuman offing of Amjad Sabri, one of Pakistani’s greatest qawwali performers is indeed condemnable. I had not heard his qawwalis before, but when I heard just half of his qawwalis, it wrenched my heart because the murder of such kind of person is extremely condemnable. The most gruesome thing is that Amjad Sabri was threatened before as well; however, he had submitted his application for the security guard, but unfortunately he could not get any response. The plight of Karachi worsens by the day.
