Indian troops kill two Kashmiri youth in IHK

As many as two Kashmiri youth were killed in Kulgam district of Indian Held Kashmir by Indian troops today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops shot dead the youth during a cordon and search operation in Qaimoh area of the district.

People took to the streets in the area and staged forceful demonstrations against the operation and subsequent killing of the youth. Indian police and troops fired teargas shells to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes between the demonstrators and the forces’ personnel.

Meanwhile, the Joint Resistance Leadership demanded impartial probe by the UN Human Rights Council into the killing of three youth in a fake encounter in Machil area of Kupwara district on 6th of this month.

The Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Dar has demanded India to release all illegally detained Kashmiris languishing in different jails.

On the other hand, the Indian police brought illegally detained senior resistance leader, Masarrat Aalam Butt, from Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu to Srinagar and produced before a court in a false case framed against him.

After the hearing, he was shifted back to Kot Bhalwal Jail.

Speakers at a condolence reference held in Luton, UK, paid glowing tributes to Shujaat Bukhari for his services to highlight the Indian atrocities on the people of held Kashmir.

The speakers included Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl, Nazir Ahmed Qureshi, Professor Muhammad Arif, Ayoub Rathor, Syed Tehsin Gilani, Shabbir Malik and Sardar Amjad Abbasi.
