A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on Tuesday challenging the appointment of those judges who had sworn in under the Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO) after Nov. 3, 2007 without consultation with the chief justice of Pakistan. Senior lawyer Mohammed Akram Sheikh has filed the petition in the apex court. The law experts said the petition can become opening of a new legal battle, if the petition will be accepted for the hearing than the court Registrar will forward the petition to the Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry who will constitute a bench for hearing of the case.
