The police checkpoints have been set up again with tight security arrangements in Islamabad.The Interior Minister has directed the police to tighten the security at entry and exit routes of the federal capital.The Interior Ministry has formed a Task Force to scrutinize the efficiency of police officials deputed at check posts and ordered a through checking of suspected vehicles. As far as the security arrangements are concerned, the checkpoints should be properly installed on the highway, as it is the main entry point and from Rawalpindi to Islamabad, the police have removed all the checkpoints. I request the higher authorities to look into the matter before there is a lapse in the security arrangements. KHURRAM SALEEM, Islamabad, March 22.
