LAHORE - The first-ever painting exhibition, having representation of all the provinces of Pakistan titled 'United We Stand will open at Vogue Art Gallery on March 26. The organisers are hopeful for having much appreciation by the art lovers and passionate response by the peace loving circles for its message of love and harmony. It may be mentioned here that the 133 artists hailing from all parts of the country are taking part in the mega event which will continue for two weeks. Aitzaz Ahsan would be the chief guest on the occasion. The organisers included Munazza Rashid, Saadia Fatima, Neelam Mawaz and Zainab Mawaz while addressing a press conference at a local hotel here on Wednesday said the main purpose of this exhibition was to unite all the artists on one platform, be it the living legends, mid carriers, the emerging talents, in a show of unity under the banner of our national flag. They said that Vogue Art Gallery was trying to show its audience a unique blend of both wisdom and experience of the masters and a crisp edginess of the new age phenomena. They further said that our very belief was that art can change the world and everyone who witnesses this art extravaganza would feel the change. More than 300 art pieces of 133 artists would be displayed on the occasion; they said and added that the landscapes, portraits, calligraphy and the beautiful demo of the use of pen and ink would be major in the event.
