NA session today

ISLAMABAD - Stormy session of National Assembly will start here on Monday afternoon (today), while opposition parties are all set to give tough time to the government mainly on, what opposition parliamentarians termed, the peculiar silence of rulers on $1.5 billion doled out to Pakistan by Saudi Arabia.
The business advisory committee meeting is called ahead of the 10th session of the lower house of the Parliament by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at 2:30pm to finalise the agenda for the session.
Meanwhile, the parliamentary parties meetings of both the treasury and opposition parties are also separately called while the Leader of Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah in consultation with the parliamentary party leaders of Awami National Party and Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid) has also called a joint parliamentary parties meeting with the aim to devise a joint strategy on the issues of $1.5 billion, privatisation of the state-owned entities and host of other issues including progress on peace parleys with militants.
The 10th session of the Lower House of the Parliament would likely remain in session till April 8 or April 11.
