Pakistan pursuing foreign policy of non-interference: Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD- Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, has said the government is focusing on economic-driven foreign policy based on non-interference in other countries' affairs.
In an interview, he said foreign policy is being given a new dimension to ensure national integrity, progress, peace and stability in the country.
Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan has been facilitating intra-Afghan dialogue for Afghan reconciliation for the last three years, but unfortunately our efforts were not reciprocated and dialogue process could not continue. He said Pakistan is also working on the policy of non-interference in other neighbouring countries, including India, to bring peace and stability in the region leading to prosperity of the people. Regarding deportation of Pakistanis from Saudi Arabia, he said about twenty thousand illegal Pakistanis have been deported, while Saudi government has agreed to regularize nine hundred thousand Pakistanis working in the kingdom. Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan wants good relations with Bangladesh.
