HAFIZABAD - Nazim-e-Aala Almi Tanzeem Ahle Sunnat Pakistan Allama Ziaullah Qadri stressed the need for making the Blasphemy Act more affective and regretted that no blasphemer in the country could so far be convicted under section 295-C PPC.

Addressing a workers convention here in Vanike Tarar, he said that like terrorists, blasphemers who injure the sentiments of the Muslims should also be hanged. He said that arrest of Ulema and Sufia of peaceful Brelvi sect without any justification was tantamount to conspiracy against Zarb-e-Azab operation launched for quelling the terrorists.

He said that Ulema of Ahle Sunnat were peaceful and were fully determined to end terrorism and extremism in the country. He said that removal of loudspeakers from mosques was un-Islamic and unconstitutional and urged the government to withdraw Loudspeakers and Amplifier Ordinance.

He called upon the workers to forge greater unity for the glorification of Islam. Prominent among those who also addressed the convention included Central Secretary General Sahibzada Syed Ali Zulqarnain Shah, Maulana Muhammad Yousaful Qadri, Syed Shahid Hussain Gardaizi and Maulana Ghulam Mustafa Noshahi.

FEHM-I-DEEN SYMPOSIUM: Speakers at ‘Fehm-i-Deen’ Symposium held here in the Jinnah hall under the auspices of Shia organisations Hafizabad have called upon their followers to follow the teachings of Holy Prophet (SAWW) and Ahle Bait for their success in the world and Hereafter. They stressed upon them to play their vital role for creating better society.

The symposium was chaired by Allama Saif Ali Najfi and was addressed among others by Shifa Najfi, Touseef Abbas Kamaili, Dr Liaqat Ali Awan, Allama Waqar Hassan Naqvi, Moulana Ghulam Akbar and Saqib Hussain.

They said that Shia community was fully behind the armed forces for launching operation against terrorists and extremists and called upon the government and army to extend the Zarb-e-Azab Operation in the whole country to wipe out extremists and terrorists for creating peace.
