The top management of PIA only believes in cosmetic changes, which has been proved by spending time and money on creating new uniforms for the air hostess’s. The airline’s image is not dependent on what the crew or staff is wearing, but how they behave. Instead of spending millions on such useless changes the PIA management should spend some money on training their staff and making them realise that passengers have spent money to travel with them and they deserve courtesy and respect. The problem with our corporate is they believe in outer and surface improvement rather than internal, which will improve the service and courtesy as well as performance. My advice to PIA management is not to waste time on announcements that the Chairman is travelling in economy class, as many before him did the same without fanfare, and I am sure the Chairman wouldn’t travel on a long haul flight in economy.
