ATTOCK - Provincial Home Minister Col (Retd) Shuja Khanzada has said that health and rescue facilities would be provided to people at their door steps. He said this after laying foundation stone of Rescue 1122 building at Hazro which will cost Rs130 million. On the occasion, DG Rescue 1122 Dr Rizwan, DCO Attock Chaudhry Habibullah, DPO Attock Nadeem Hussain, AC Hazro Tariq Basra and other officers were also present. The provincial minister said that Hazro is the first tehsil across Punjab where this facility is being provided.

He said that initially two ambulances, a fire brigade vehicle, staff of 32 personnel and other related equipment worth Rs50 will be provided. He said that this service in Hazro tehsil will prove helpful in providing timely first aid to people of the area. Later while addressing a big gathering in Hazro, Provincial Minister Shuja Khanzada said that the whole nation is united against terrorism and extremism and those involved in it will be dealt with an iron hand. He said that to implement the National Action Plan the whole nation and all departments are on one page. He said that after the tragic incident of Army Public School Peshawar more than 4,000 criminals have been arrested.
