LAHORE - A guard of honour was presented followed by wreath-laying ceremony at the Mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Pakistan’s national poet.

PAF Lahore Base Commander Air Commodore Hamid Faraz was the chief guest of the occasion. A smart and turned out contingent of the Pakistan Air Force took over guard duties from Satluj Rangers.

The chief guest laid a floral wreath and offered prayers at the grave of Allama Iqbal on behalf of Chief of the Air Staff, airmen and civilians of Pakistan Air Force. A large number of people from all walks of life witnessed the ceremony.
