ISLAMABAD: Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan has revealed that 42% Pakistanis believe that the governance system in China is fully democratic, while 26% insist that India has most reliable democratic in the region.

During the Gallop Pakistan survey, a nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “In your opinion, is the system of governance in China somewhat democratic, fully democratic or non-democratic?”

In response to this question, 42% said that it is fully democratic, 30% said that it is somewhat democratic and 14% said that it is non-democratic. 14% did not respond.

The same sample of men and women was also asked the same question with regards to India. In response, 26% said that the system of governance in India is fully democratic, 33% said that it is somewhat democratic and 25% said that it is non-democratic. 16% did not respond.
