ISLAMABAD-Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has announced the results of the examinations held for registration and equivalence of foreign graduates under National Examination Board (NEB) here on Saturday. A total of 409 candidates appeared in the examination for MBBS/BDS Theory, in which 118 were declared successful in medical examination, whereas in the dental examination out of five only one candidate was declared successful. The clinical or Objective Structure Clinical Examination part of the examination for candidates, who had already cleared the written part, was held Friday. A total of 151 candidates appeared in the examination, in which 134 were declared successful. These students will be allowed to get register with the PMDC for house job. The clinical or OSCE examination for dental graduates would be held on May 29 and May 30, 2009 at dMontmorancy College of Dentistry, Lahore. The examination is conducted biannually to assess the professional competence of the foreign medical and dental graduates having Pakistani nationality in order to register their basic qualifications with the PM&DC.
