ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF) President and former federal minister for food and agriculture Nazar Muhmmad Gondal have given go-ahead for organising the 54th National Badminton Championship in Islamabad in the first week of July. In the championship which will be held before Ramazan, all the affiliated units will be invited to participate. The Islamabad Badminton Association will host this event. This championship will be dedicated to soldiers of Pakistan and will be named as 'Jeevay Pakistan National Badminton Championship'. Junior talent hunt programme for U-17 males and females will be launched with the help of the PSB in all provinces.
