PML-Q always serves the masses: Nakai

PATTOKI - Former Federal Minister and PML-Q MNA Sardar Muhammad Asif Nakai has said the alliance between the PML-Q and PPP is a good sign which has provided an opportunity to the government to complete its constitutional tenure. He was talking to media persons here the other day. He said the system had grown strong with the PML-Q decision to join hands with the PPP. He said that Chaudhry brothers had always served the masses in its true sense while the present Punjab government did not start any public welfare project in it 3 years tenure. He alleged that the PML-N was the main hurdle in the unification of various factions of the PML. Chaudhry brothers did their best to bring all factions closer, but Nawaz Sharif was unmoved. The Abbotabad episode, he said, had brought Pakistan into a defensive position, as a result of which the countrys ties with the US were strained. He said that Pakistan-US relations would have to be revived, but the process would take sometime to yield results. Three dacoits arrested: Three dacoits were arrested here the other day. Reportedly, on a tip-off, the Pattoki City Police SHO conducted a raid along with Sub-Inspector Raja Shaukat and arrested dacoits namely Muhammad Anwar alias Imran, Tanveer Ahmad and Babar alias Babri. The police also recovered two motorbikes, three cell phones, three pistols of 30 bore and Rs1,00,000 from their possession. While 2 dacoits made good their escape during the raid. The City Police have registered a case.
