Overhauling employment rules

We live in a fast changing world. Indeed, in an age of globalization the way written tests or interviews are taken, in various public sector organizations, one’s head hangs in shame. Qualifications, competence and character are not taken into account to choose the meritorious people. The most commonly used reference is political interference in appointment. Having the right personal connections is important for an appointment, posting and promotion.
Is there anyone worried about the future of this country who may direct the concerned quarters for bureaucracy reforms, including introduction of a more competitive recruitment system, not ‘sham’ NTS, which is designed to deceive the dejected youth and mint money from needy masses. Can we have selection based on qualifications, competence and character, instead of connections and corruption?
