With the overflow of traffic on the important and long roads of Karachi, it has rather become very difficult for pedestrians to cross the roads. It is so because the number of pedestrian bridges is less on these long stretches of roads in comparison to the number of people who use them.
Major accidents have taken place on these roads, while pedestrians were crossing. I would like to request the authorities for more overhead pedestrian bridges to be constructed on all these busy roads to save human lives especially of women and children.
