Honda unveils new models at Tokyo Motor Show

TOKYO (PR): Honda motor company unveils various upcoming models of Automobiles and Motorcycles on the Press day at the 43rd Tokyo Motor show in presence of International and local Japanese media. A media delegation from Pakistan also witnessed the impressive unveiling ceremony.
Addressing to the press conference President of Honda Motor Company Japan, Mr Takanobu Ito said “Live outside the box” is the theme of the Honda booth for this motor show. This theme represents Honda’s passion and strong belief toward the art of creating things which is not bound by conventional wisdom or past precedent. Our belief in living outside the box has been inherited by Honda associates from one generation to the next, and today, we would like to introduce our new sports models created based on such a challenging spirit and unique Honda inspirations

 

POF arranges food festival
ISLAMABAD (PR): The administration of POF Ordnance Club has arranged a Regional Food Festival and Family Gala. Begum Chairman POF Board inaugurated the Food Festival by cutting the ribbon. Secretary Ordnance Club Mr. Muhammad Iqbal received Begum Chairman POF Board on her arrival in the festival. After the inauguration, Begum Chairman POF Board visited all stalls and took keen interest in the items available on the stalls. Besides the members of POF Ladies Club, a large numbers of ladies and children were present on this occasion.
Magic Show, Bhoot Bangla, Cartoon Characters, Pet Animals and varieties of swings have been arranged for the refreshment of children also. The stalls in food items include Dhaka Fish, POF Welfare Trust Food Items, Shinwari, Butt Saji, Jalil Kabab Peshawar, Roti Saag (Melody Restaurant), Lahore Restaurant (Umeed), Kanteki Burger, POF Hotel, Chatkhara Hotel and Savour Pullao.

 

HighStreet supports to victims of Typhoon Haiyan
DUBAI (PR): HighStreet, the leading western wear brand in Pakistan, extended its support to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, Philippines. All the sales proceedings from October 2013 were used to buy food items, medicines, blankets, bottled water, slippers, warm clothing and toiletries to support the affected victims who are left with nothing but despair. This is the second deadliest typhoon after Typhoon Yolanda, killing at least 4,011.
According to bbc.co.uk, damage to roads and infrastructure has hindered the distribution of aid. Two senior UN officials visited Tacloban on Wednesday.
 and identified an urgent need for transport, emergency shelter material, hygiene kits, body bags and the establishment of family tracing service. A lack of trucks and fuel shortage is severely hampering the response, the UN says, with people from remote areas forced to walk several kilometres to reach aid distribution points.

 

Celebrations at Roots Schools
ISLAMABAD (PR): The second day’s celebrations at the Roots Millennium Schools, Millennium Campus kicked off with a bang. Wahaj-us-Siraj CEO Nayatel, who talked about how there is no room for excuses on the road to success. Usman Shaukat an inspirational speaker and CEO of Bio-Labs, told an amazing story of his initial failures and how he overcame them to become the head of one of the fastest growing companies in Pakistan as awarded by Harvard Business School professor Michael Porter’s ALLWORLD NETWORK. A very interesting presentation was given by Saad Hamid in which he explained the crucial factors for entrepreneurial success.

 

SGS Summit on Asset Integrity Management
KARACHI (PR): “SGS Summit 2013 on Asset Integrity Management”, scheduled to take place 26-27 November at a local hotel. Over the years, SGS Pakistan has organized a host of technical events on effective management of complete assets life cycles from design and construction to commissioning and operation to decommissioning. A cross-section of industry representatives would attend these informative events underscoring the need to evolve the forum to an international level engaging experts from around the world.
As a regular feature, technical staffs used to travel worldwide to attend these types of conferences, seminars in the past. SGS took the lead as this will be the 1st time in Pakistan that such conference is being held.  The event is a CSR objective is to safe guard the national assets.
