Dar undergoes angioplasty

ISLAMABAD - Federal Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Saturday underwent angioplasty at Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology following a heart problem.
The finance minister’s condition was out of danger and he was shifted to Punjab House from hospital. According to details, Dar had pain in his chest and was taken to the hospital where he underwent angioplasty.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his wife and daughter visited the hospital on Saturday and enquired about the health of Dar.
Meanwhile, President Mamnoon Hussain sent a bouquet to Dar and conveyed his best wishes to him.
The spokesman for the minister said Senator Dar visited the Rawaqlpindi Institute of Cardiology Friday afternoon. After initial investigations, doctors advised him angioplasty.

So he was admitted to the hospital and underwent angioplasty successfully.
The finance minister stayed in the hospital overnight and was discharged Saturday afternoon. He is now recovering at his home and is well.
Dar has thanked the people for their prayers and best wishes as well as all those who have visited the hospital, sent him bouquets, messages, e-mails and contacted him on phone.
