KHANEWAL -Dozens of women from Kabirwala staged a protest demonstration outside Press Club over a fraud by under the guise of a fake PML-N labour wing, it is learnt.

The protesters including Safera Abid and Husena Manzor said that in the name of PML-N labour wing, Qaisra Hayat and her companions had committed a fraud against them. Qaisra Hayat, Ghulam Sakina, Fozia Iqbal and khizar Hayat with their companions had made a fake PML Labour Wing Organisation. Qaisra claimed to be the district president of the organisation and established an office of the fake labor wing.

A few days ago, they called hundreds of women to the market committee office to distribute fake notifications. Meanwhile, PML-N office-bearer Saeed Alam reached there with police. The victims said the fraudsters had offered them jobs in the youth wing and demanded money for starting process for the purpose. They also said that the fake wing also looted many women with a promise to issue Nawaz Sharif cards to them.

The police arrested Qaisra Hayat and recovered fake notifications and registered a case against her under section 471/468/420. She said, “I have given more than 4 lacs to the Fozia iqbal of Multan who claimed to be the divisional president of the organisation and she issued me made me PML-N woman wing district president and also issued a notification in this regard.”

The victims said that the group had been working for many months in the rural areas of the South Punjab and also arranged various meetings with the high-ups of the PML-N to confirm that their links were not only at Multan but also at provincial level.

The victims demanded that the Punjab chief minister should take notice of the fraud. PML-N District President Rao Saadat said that he did not issue any notice in this regard.
