LAHORE- Young Nurses Association (YNA) today announced to protest across Punjab, against the alleged misbehavior of a doctor with nurse, at Jinnah Hospital in Lahore.

According to details, nurses at Jinnah Hospital Lahore staged a protest demonstration and raised slogans against hospital’s administration. Their demand is to suspend the doctor for harassing their colleague.

After the announcement of YNA, nurses stopped working in various sectors in Punjab, whereas services are being provided to patients in emergency, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU).

The Association claimed that administration is not taking any action against the doctor. The protest would continue till his termination they claimed. Further, YNA has also warned administration that they would stop their services for emergency as well if the administration fails to fulfill their demands.

Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif took notice of YNA ongoing protest and sought report from the administration.
