Islamabad - Islamabad police on Sunday recovered bullet-riddled dead bodies of two real brothers, who had been missing since Saturday last, from a green belt along the IJ Principal Road.
According to the local police, the dead bodies of M Nouman (15) and M Asad (8) were found from the green belt near old toll plaza at IJ Principal Road. Both were sons of Abdul Ghaffar, resident of Rawalpindi. The father of those who were shot dead reported to the police that a day earlier, he had sent his sons to a person in Khayaban Sir Syed area for collecting an amount of Rs 5,000. His sons reported on the cellphone that the person had denied payment and after that he asked his sons to return home. He said that neither the both returned back nor could he contact his sons despite repeated attempts on their cellphone. The father on the same day got an FIR registered with Banni police suspecting that his sons had been kidnapped by someone, the police said. However, the Eagle Squad of the Sabzi Mandi police recovered the dead bodies of the two brothers at around 11:00am. The dead bodies were later shifted to PIMS and further investigation is under way.
