ISLAMABAD - Subh-e-Nau chairperson Shahida Kausar Farooq lauded Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) president Anil Khanna's statement regarding his support to bring international tennis back to Pakistan. Talking to The Nation, Shahida said: “Being ATF president and ITF vice president, Khanna can play vital role in reviving international tennis in Pakistan. The PTF should also work on it and try to get the hostship of next Davis Cup against China Taipei.” Shahida recalled it was Subh-e-Nau, which revived ITF Junior events in Pakistan back in 1997, is ready to host ITF Juniors again with the support of ATF and PTF. Meanwhile, the SN is going to host a six-day national tennis championship in federal capital from November 30. The championship will be played at PTF Complex Islamabad.
