NWFP Senior Minister Bashir Ahmed Bilor said on Friday that the government was willing to hold talks with local Taliban at any time in Swat. Talking to a private TV channel, Bashir Bilor termed the passing of joint resolution as a milestone in the parliamentary history. He said that the doors are open for talks with Taliban in Swat. However, he added, Taliban will have to lay down arms. He said that we held talks with Sufi Muhammad and a peace deal was reached with Taliban in Swat also. He said the government stands by Swat peace deal. "The armed forces will be withdrawn from NWFP if security situation improves," he said.
