LAHORE - Junior team coach-cum-manager Qamar Ibrahim said that he accepted the job in the national interest with a target to form a pool of top players. He said that the immediate target is to check the players in the Pakistan and India junior series and prepare them for the June-July Junior World Cup to be organized jointly by Malaysia and Singapore. "I would pick a winning combination for the junior tournament. We don't have enough time and the players already selected by the previous selection committee would be called for camp and then shortlisted after October 26 and 27 open trials at Karachi. "The selected lot will further be shortlisted for the series and then be prepared for the World Cup after further open trials," he added.
