Dengue fever claimed five more lives in Lahore on Monday. Despite the unending killing spree, no step is being taken by the Government of Punjab against the deadly disease. It was revealed in a high-level meeting that three different kinds of fish, released in pools to kill dengue have been stolen. This was revealed at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The Chief Minister directed the Ministry concerned to release more fish in ponds and locals should be briefed about their benefits. Acting on the advice of Sri Lankan medical experts, three kinds of fish were released in different ponds of Lahore to kill the dengue.
