Our Staff Reporter ELLAH ABAD - Alone brother of five sisters was found dead here late the other night in Talwandi a suburban area of Ellah Abad. As per detail, Nisar Ahmad, a resident of Dafto was lying dead in field near Zubair Bricks, 5-km away from the main city. Some locals spotted the body and informed the local police. The police removed the body to morgue for autopsy. The victims relative told that he was the alone brother of five sister and his one sister was settled in Talwandi near Ellah Abad with her family and Nisar Ahmad had come to meet her. According to the police, there were visible torture marks on the dead body. They suspected that unknown killers first tortured later strangled him to death. Robbers on rampant in Ellah Abad: Robbers rampaged through the area, deprived residents of cash, cellphones, a motorcycle and other valuables while four people were injured in a road accident in Ellah Abad here the other day. As per detail on Machana Road near Baghiwaal Tibba, four armed robbers intercepted Abdul Shakoor and Abdul Gahfoor, residents of Mustowaal when they were going back to their village on a motorbike. The robbers tied both the brothers with a rope and snatched Rs3,000, two cellphones and the motorbike LEK-6992 -10. Meanwhile, Muhammad Naveed along with his mother, a resident of Bhagiwaal also reached the spot. The robbers stopped them as well and deprived them of their belongings. The police have registered an FIR No.495/11 -392/397 PPC aginst unidentified robbers. Another such incident, unknown thieves entered a Mosque at Gehlan, some 3-km away from Ellah Abad and took away UPS worth Rs25000. Meanwhile, bandits stormed Govt Primary School Kot Sardar Muhmmad Ali and stole ceiling fan, water pump, furniture and other electronic appliances. The local people have protested against the rising robbery incidents in the area and subsequent inability of the Ellah Abad Police control the crime. They have demanded the Punjab government and the IGP to take notice of the worst law and order and the police failure. Meanwhile, four people sustained injuries in an accident between two motorcycles near Brother Sugar Mills on Chunian Road. Reportedly, Ch Arshad Hanif and his friend Amanat Ali were coming back from court on a motorbike when another speeding motorcycle hit them from behind. Resultantly, they suffered multiple injuries. They were rushed nearby hospital. Later the other two injured were identified as Muhammad Ismail a retired Armyman and Malik Nadeem, residents of same locality.
