Anti-PML-N alliance agreed in Kasur

KASUR - All major political parties have formed an alliance to protest against what they said the illegalities in the delimitation and compete the PML-N in the upcoming local bodies elections.
Heavy weight political figures of Kasur, two former foreign ministers Khursheed Mehmood Kasuri, Sardar Assef Ahmed Ali, central executive committee member Ch Manzoor Ahmed and Sardar Asif Nakai joined hands in this regard.
This was announced at a local hotel on Wednesday where representatives of the PPP, PTI, PML-Q, JI and independent candidates of the last general elections participated. On behalf of all the political parties and political figures, PPP’s Ch Manzoor Ahmed said it was for the first time in the history of Kasur that such a big alliance had been formed against the illegal steps of the government regarding corruption in delimitation and other issues.
He said during the span of only few hours before the press conference, all the political parties were unanimous on key issues.
Manzoor said that despite having a historic mandate, Nawaz-led government was scare of holding local body elections on non party basis. He demanded the government to show open heartedness and hold the elections on party basis.
