During the meeting of a village panchayat, some influential people of Chak 423-EB blackened the face of a farmer and bashed him over the issue of divorce.
Two parties had a feud over the ownership of a plot in the village. The jury met at the outhouse of the village lambardar. Ghulam Mohayyuddin was present along with other peoples. Meanwhile, Muhammad Waqar, Ghulam Yasin and Shani carrying arms came there and bashed Mohayyuddin besides blackening his face. The people of the village came there for his rescue and got released him from the attackers’ custody.
