LAHORE - The second death anniversary of Madr-e-Jamhooriat, Begun Nusrat Bhutto was observed across the country on Wednesday.
The PPP organised ceremonies to mark the day in the four provinces. In Sindh, Quran Khawani was held at Naudero, 70 Clifton and other places.
In Lahore, a similar was organised at the residence of party’s Lahore President, Samina Khalid Ghurki.
The workers vowed to continue their struggle for bringing true democracy in the country by following in the foot-steps of the party founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and to complete his great mission of socio-economic revolution in the country. They also recalled the sacrifices of Bhutto family for the country.
