LONDON-Taylor Swift’s management were keen for her to give people a “break” from her voice.
The singer recorded track Sweeter Than Fiction for movie One Chance, which stars James Corden as Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts.
It was a challenge to get her team to agree to the project, as the 23-year-old usually has a strict plan to stick to.
“I had to fight to do this because I try to take a break in between albums and try and give people a minute to not hear me on the radio,” she explained to BBC Newsbeat.  “I had to go around and ask people, ‘Can I please, please put something out?’ even though we’re supposed to be going quiet.” Taylor released her album Red in 2012 and is currently touring with Ed Sheeran.
